Two Crestwood boys earn NEIC baseball honors

CRESCO - Crestwood junior Frank Hrdlicka and junior Colter Bye both earned Northeast Iowa All-Conference honors for the 2018 baseball season.

Hrdlicka was tabbed for the Second Team at the infield position, and Bye earned Honorable Mention as an outfielder.

In conference games this season, Hrdlicka scored seven runs, had 16 hits, including two doubles and one triple, had four runs batted in, posted an on-base percentage of .377 and a batting average of .296.

In NEIC games this year, Bye scored five runs, had 18 hits, including one double, tallied 10 RBI, had an on-base percentage of .419 and a batting average of .333.

Final NEIC standings: New Hampton 14-4, Decorah 14-4, Waverly-SR 14-4, Charles City 9-9, Oelwein 8-10, Crestwood 2-16, Waukon 2-16.
