The Trojans were unable to get their bats going against Cadet pitcher Laken Lienhard as Lienhard no-hit Turkey Valley during a 10-0 Crestwood win in five innings.
Crestwood recorded only three hits, but the Cadets drew seven walks and took advantage of a couple TV errors.
“There was a huge speed difference in the pitching we faced Wednesday (against Postville) and what we faced (against Crestwood),” Coach Hackman said. “On defense, the plan was to walk Laken Lienhard and make the rest of the team beat us, but we walked too many of the other girls and had a couple costly errors.”
