Softball, baseball playoff pairings set; tickets available online
CRESCO - The Iowa High School Baseball and Softball playoff pairings for the 2023 post-season were recently released. The Crestwood Softball Team is competing in Class 3A Region 7 and the Cadet Baseball Team is competing in Class 2A District 6. The Turkey Valley Softball Team is in Class 1A Region 7 and the TV Baseball team is in Class 1A District 6.
Softball pairings
Crestwood (13-13) will play Waukon (14-11) at Waukon on Thursday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The winner of this game will face either Dubuque Wahlert (24-7) or North Fayette Valley (14-13) on Saturday, July 8 at 5 p.m. at Dubuque Wahlert. The Region Final will be played on July 11 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
Turkey Valley (9-17) will play Central Elkader (3-16) at home on June 30 at 7 p.m. The winner will play North Linn (27-5) at North Linn on July 5 at 7 p.m. The Region Semifinal will be played on July 7 at 7 p.m. The Region Final will be played on July 10 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
Baseball pairings
Crestwood (4-19) will play Osage (12-10) on Saturday, July 1 at 5 p.m. at MFL-Mar-Mac. The winner will play New Hampton (20-9) on July 5 at 7 p.m. at New Hampton. The District 6 Final will be played on July 8 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined. The Substate Final will be played on July 11 at 7 p.m. at a site to determined.
Turkey Valley (11-12) will play Lansing Kee (14-18) on July 1 at 5 p.m. at South Winn. The winner will play either South Winn or Clarksville on July 5 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined. The District 6 Final will be played on July 8 at a site to be determined. The Substate Final will be played on July 11 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
