Shannon Pisney earns NAIA All-American selection

DES MOINES - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2022 Basketball All-Americans. Shannon Pisney, a senior on the Grand View University Women’s Basketball team, was among the list of honorees this year.
Pisney, who is a 2018 graduate of Crestwood High School, helped lead the Cadet girls’ basketball team to a Class 3A State Championship in 2018.
This year marked the second straight year that Pisney earned All-American honors. The senior guard has been the force behind Grand View’s offense the entire season. Recording a field goal percentage of 42.7 and a three-point percentage of 37.7. Pisney averaged 16.8 points per game with her highest scoring game being 30 points versus Mount Mercy back in February.
“Shannon has been a staple for our program for four years,” said Head Coach Kelli Greenway, “Her energy and presence alone make us a better team."
