No. 13 Crestwood softball team bounces Charles City, W-SR

CRESCO - Playing in its season opener at home on June 17, the Class 3A No. 13 Crestwood softball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit for five runs in the fourth on its way to an 8-2 win over Class 4A No. 9 Charles City.

Facing Waverly-Shell Rock on the road on June 19, the Cadets crushed the Go-Hawks, 7-0, to improve their record to 2-0. Complete Crestwood statistics from both games will be in the June 24 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
