Hovden, Falck capture wins at Cresco Speedway races

CRESCO - A near-capacity crowd witnessed a thrilling night of racing at the Cresco Speedway on Friday, July 27. The races were sponsored by the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah.
Kyle Falck of Decorah nabbed first place in the Stock Car feature, and Dan Hovden of Decorah took first in the B-Mod feature. Justin Vargason of Waukon grabbed the checkered flag in the Hornet race, and John Griffin of Caledonia, Minn. was first in the Mod-Lite feature. Tim Helle of Garnavillo took first in the Hobby feature while Steve Holthaus of Cresco placed third.
