Crestwood hosts Hall of Pride scrimmage on Nov. 23

CRESCO - The Crestwood Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys’ Basketball teams will compete against Turkey Valley during the Hall of Pride scrimmage on Nov. 23 at Crestwood. The JV contest will start at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity game will begin at 7 p.m.
The Hall of Pride event includes a service project completed by the basketball teams, which involved putting up Christmas decorations in Cresco.
On Nov. 23, there will be a small admission fee for fans and donations will be accepted. Money that is left over after officials and the Hall of Pride have been paid will be donated to a needy family in Cresco to assist them during the holidays.
“This is a great event that our young men can participate in to help a needy family,” Coach Lynn McCormick said.
