Crestwood grid team downed by Osage, playoff tickets available online

CRESCO - A solid effort by the Crestwood varsity football team fell short on the scoreboard as Osage defeated the Cadets, 28-12, on Friday, Oct. 14 in Cresco. Osage's win allowed them to grab first place in Class 2A District 3 with a 5-0 mark. Crestwood, Clear Lake and New Hampton all finished tied for second in the district at 3-2. All four teams qualified to compete in the Class 2A playoffs. North Fayette Valley (6-2) will play at Crestwood (5-3) at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
