Crestwood baseball team falls to Decorah; splits two with Waukon, Oelwein

CRESCO - The Decorah Vikings raced to a 4-0 lead after one inning and beat the Crestwood baseball team, 11-1, in five innings on June 14 at home.
Playing a home doubleheader against Waukon on June 16, the Cadets won game one, 7-4; and dropped game two, 3-4.
Facing Oelwein in a doubleheader on the road on June 18, the Cadets split with the Huskies. Crestwood won game one, 7-5; and lost game two, 8-10, to fall to 5-10 overall.
The Cadets will host Waverly-SR on June 24 at 7 p.m. and play Waterloo Columbus at the Waterloo Bucks’ stadium on June 25 at 3 p.m.
