Cadet runners receive strong send-off before State Meet

CRESCO - The Crestwood girls' cross country team, along with Cadet boy runners Bryden Juelsgaard and Nathan Martinek, walked through the halls of Crestwood Elementary and Junior High Friday morning before heading to Fort Dodge for the Class 2A State Cross Country Meet, which will be Saturday, Oct. 28, in Fort Dodge. Elementary and Junior High students lined the halls to give the Cadet runners high fives and wish them good luck at State. The Cadet girls' team will compete at 1 p.m. Saturday at State while Juelsgaard and Martinek will run at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
