CACC squads defeat Turkey Valley, SW

CRESCO - The Cresco Area Clay Crushers Trapshooting team battled the rain and turned in several stellar performances against Turkey Valley during its first home meet on April 5.
CACC Team 6 finished first in the Senior Squad division with a score of 213. Shooters included: Kody Schmelzer, Max Johnson, Kyle Larson, Colton Hruska and Peyton Ferrie.
In the Senior Ladies’ division, Cadyn Huber of TV took first, Audrey Ferrie of CACC was second and Katie Pinter of CACC took third.
Team 1 finished first in the Intermediate Squad standings with a score of 184. Members were: McCauley Heer, Kadyn Schmelzer, Ashton Keune, Grady Huber and Kale Christopher. Huber was also second individually with a score of 40.
Lydia Bollman of CACC was second in the Intermediate Ladies’ Individual standings with a score of 29. Cale Knight and Kail Schmelzer both posted one perfect round of 25.

CACC downs SW
JACKSON JCT - Taking on South Winn at Jackson Junction on April 8, CACC claimed first in the team standings in the Senior and Intermediate Divisions.
CACC Team 1 tallied a score of 176 to grab first in the Intermediate Division. CACC Team 6 posted a 224 in the Senior Division to capture first place. 
Ashton Keune was first in the Men’s Intermediate Division individually with a score of 45. Mitchell Barnes was third at 37. In the Women’s Division, Lydia Bollman was fourth at 35.
In the Men’s Senior Division, Spencer Moser was first at 48, which included a perfect 25 round. Kail Schmelzer took second at 47 and Colton Hruska was third at 47. For the women, Katie Pinter was first at 46, Alaina Bina took second at 42 and Marissa Bronner was third at 40.
