Bigalk, Peter finish in top 10 at Osage cross country meet

OSAGE - Crestwood cross country runners Dominic Bigalk and Laney Peter both finished in the top 10 of their respective races at the Osage Meet held on Sept. 13 at the Mitchell Nature Center.
New Hampton won the team title in the varsity girls’ and boys’ race. The Crestwood varsity girls’ team finished fourth overall with 106 points. The Cadet varsity boys’ team was fifth with 131 points.
Bigalk took sixth place in the boys’ varsity race in a time of 17:19.4 seconds. Peter placed ninth in the girls’ varsity race in 22:22.2.
In the Junior Varsity combined race (girls’ and boys’ running together), Crestwood placed fourth with 133 points. Forest City was first with 24. Ethan Matt posted the highest finish for the Cadets as he took 11th place in 22:28.2. Cloey Horns had the highest finish among the girls as she took 35th in 25:31.9.
In the Junior High combined race, Keaton Vobr placed 13th in 12:38.6 and Lexus Dohlman was 25th in 13:11.1. Forest City won the team title with 44 points and Crestwood was second with 137 points.
