Basketball playoff pairings released for Girls Class 3A, Girls and Boys 1A

CRESCO - The Girls' Basketball pairings for Class 3A (Crestwood) and Class 1A (Turkey Valley) were released by the Iowa Girls' High School Athletic Union on Feb. 3.

The Boys’ Basketball pairings for Class 1A (Turkey Valley) were released on Feb. 4.

In Girls' Class 3A Region 2, Crestwood (3-14) will play Clear Lake (14-4) at Clear Lake at 7 p.m. on Feb. 12 in the first round. The winner will face either North Fayette Valley (14-6) or New Hampton (6-11) on Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in Clear Lake in the region semifinals. The region final is scheduled for Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.

In Girls' Class 1A Region 4, Turkey Valley (13-6) will play Lansing Kee (7-12) at 7 p.m. on Feb. 10 at Turkey Valley in the first round. The winner will play either Central Elkader (16-4) or Tripoli (6-14) on Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. at Central Elkader in the second round. The semifinals are scheduled for Feb. 18 at East Buchanan at 7 p.m. The region finals are set for Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.

In Boys’ Class 1A District 6, Turkey Valley (9-10) will play Clayton Ridge (14-5) in the first round on Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Wapsie Valley. The winner will play either Wapsie Valley (13-3) or West Central (3-15) on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at Wapsie Valley. The District Final is set for Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
