Cadet girls rout Chickasaws, advance to semis versus Wahlert

CRESCO - The Cadet girls softball team defeated the New Hampton Chickasaws 8-2 during the first round of the Class 3A tournament on July 6. They will advance to play Dubuque Wahlert on July 9 at 7 p.m. in the semifinals at home. The winner will play on July 12 in the region final.
