RIDGEWAY - On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, Jody Lynn Livingood passed away at 58 years young
Her family will gather for a private graveside service on Thursday, May 18. Condolences may be sent to 2850 318th Ave., Ridgeway, IA 52165.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1964, in Cresco, Iowa. A farm girl at heart, Jody returned home after raising a family and pursuing her career in Colorado. In 1988, she married Thomas Jaschke, with whom she had two children.
An outgoing soul, Jody had a vibrant personality she openly displayed through her sense of style and shoe-wear. Behind her colorful exterior hid a skilled card shark who was stubborn as the best of them and will always be remembered fondly by her family!
Her last years were spent exploring the world through recipes and fulfilling her lifelong passion for cooking. Her salads were hits at every mealtime!
Jody is remembered for her kindness to all and her belief that everyone can do and be anything.
She is survived by daughters, Mikah and Zariah Jaschke; former spouse, Thomas Jaschke; granddaughters of the heart, Yewlamay, Emberlyn and Tillyana; parents, Betty and Bernard Livingood; sister, Jackie Livingood; brother, Mark (Robin) Livingood; aunt, Paige Winebarger; and many more brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
