ROCHESTER - Jennifer D. Hanson, 43, of Rochester, MN, formerly of LeRoy, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home.

Jennifer Dawn Hanson was born in Des Moines, IA on May 16, 1981 to Debra Hanson. She graduated from Crestwood High School in 1999. After attending NIACC for 2 years, she began working for her mom cleaning houses. They worked together, played pool and darts together and bowled together. Jennifer was Deb's one and only.

Jennifer definitely marched to the beat of her own drum. When she made her mind up to do something, she was going to do it! Because of her outgoing personality, she was known for being the life of the party. While she could be a smart-aleck with her quick wit and feisty personality, Jennifer was a very loving and caring person. She was always there for Jeff when he needed her, just as he was for her. When she loved, she loved hard, especially her animals. Jennifer also had a deep rooted love for her Minnesota Vikings! Jennifer never passed up an opportunity to have a fun and while her time here on earth was much too short, she lived her life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed.

Jennifer is survived by her mom Debra Hanson of LeRoy, special friend Jeff Lawstuen of Rochester, her dog Jedi and so many lifetime friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Hanson, Grandma and Grandpa Koster, Uncle Jeff, Gary Kohn, her beloved cats Jake, Josie and Jay-Z, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Jennifer will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2 p.m.-? at the Isle of Dreams Event Center in Spring Valley, MN. Please wear your Vikings jerseys or your favorite purple and gold attire as we honor the memory of Jennifer. SKOL VIKINGS!
