Crestwood NHS raises funds for American Heart Assoc.

Howard County - The Crestwood High School National Honor Society recently raised over $945 for the American Heart Association during the month of February, designated as ‘Heart Month.’

The National Honor Society invited the Cadet Nation to join them in ‘Red Out’ the American Heart Association’s life-saving mission to reduce heart disease.

Participants supported the cause by wearing red, purchasing an item, filling out a heart with the reason why they enjoy coming to basketball games, and taking part in the three-point shot contest. Special American Heart Association T-shirts were available and bracelets were available for sale. All proceeds benefited the American Heart Association.
