~ Helping Services information booth and teen room will be available. Parents are invited to check out a mock teenager room where paraphernalia items, drug-related items, drug-reference clothing, stash compartment and more will be hidden. Adults will point out the items they see, and will then be shown what they missed.
Jennifer Kimber of Helping Services said, “We believe this will be a very educational event for the parents and will bring up many great talking points. Parents need to have this information because you can’t prevent something when you have no idea that it's happening.”
~ Game Truck for kids and adults
~ Mobile Mamma will have information for parents on how to keep tuned in to their children’s online presence.
~ Bike safety information
~ Food - Several vendors will be selling food, including the Moo Mobile, Reno’s, the circus and more.
• Circus: Two shows for the circus will take place at 5 and 7:30 p.m.
Those attending should expect to see the normal circus acts, such as clowns, tight rope-walking, trapeze, horses, dogs, the big cats, audience involvement and more!
There is something for everyone at the circus. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or they can be purchased at a discount before the event. Look for the posters announcing “Tickets Sold Here” at participating businesses.
Come on out for a great day and evening of fun events before the count down to school begins!
