Osage man charged with 1st degree murder

OSAGE - On Friday, Aug. 19, agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), members of the DCI Criminalistics Lab and Deputies with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office executed several search warrants and conducted interview as they continued to investigate the disappearance and death of Angela Nicole Bradbury, age 29, of rural Cerro Gordo County.
Search warrants were served in both Osage, Iowa and St. Ansgar, Iowa in an attempt to obtain additional evidence in the case. Upon completion of the execution of the search warrants, Nathan James Gilmore, age 23 of Osage was charged with Murder in the first degree.
Bradbury was reportedly last seen on April 6, 2021. On July 12, 2021 a human skull, placed on a stick at the Greenbelt River Trail Park near the City of Mitchell, was found, and it was confirmed it belonged to the missing woman. Her family officially filed a missing person report in February 2022.

Gilmore is currently being held in the Mitchell County jail on a one million dollar cash bond.
