CRESCO - The new teachers at Notre Dame are excited to start their new careers within the town of Cresco!
Words from the new staff:
Kayla Malven - “I went to school at Trinity Catholic School through sixth grade, and then I was homeschooled. I enjoy being outside, spending time with family, and crafting home decor. God has given me the talent of being creative, and because of that, I have started a small craft business that I really enjoy. In my pastime, I attend craft shows in the area and sell my creations.”
Samantha Weigert - “Hi all! My name is Samantha Weigert. I grew up, here, in Cresco, Iowa. I graduated from Crestwood in 2018. I, then, went to Upper Iowa University and studied education. I got the opportunity and privilege to student teach at Notre Dame last year. I recently graduated, and I am excited to announce I am teaching fourth grade, grammar, guidence, and will provide intervention services for grades three through five. Let’s have a great year!
Tabatha Wentworth - “To Parents and Students, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year. My name is Mrs. Tabatha Wentworth and I am the new Library Associate. I have been a Cresco resident for the last five years. I originally grew up in Decorah and after high school I moved to South Carolina for sixteen years. I have three grown children and three grandchildren. My husband Corey has been a Cresco resident for the last 23 years and an employee of Alum-Line the last 20 years. I'm still meeting and getting to know people here in the community. If you should have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out. I am so very excited to meet all of you in this new year of school. Hooray! Here's to an amazing school year!”
Tamika Cobb - Tamika works at Dough and Joe in the morning and after school she comes to Notre Dame Catholic School to clean the classrooms and hallways. Tamika likes to read outside with her dog on the weekends.
