Mirror Image winners

Howard County - It was another tough call for naming the winner of the Mother-Daughter Look-A-Like contest for the Times Plain Dealer.

Eight mother-daughter duos submitted their photos, making it very hard on judges for picking the winners. 

The winners for this year’s contest were Rosie Bruess and daughters Jamie (age 28) and Jordan (24). When told they won, Rosie said, “People tell me a lot, ‘You can sure tell they are your daughters.’ I take that as a compliment because I think they are pretty.” Rosie and her three sisters also look alike. When they recently vacationed in Hawaii, they were asked if they were quads.

For taking first place, Bruesses received $50 in Chamber Bucks and four tickets to the Cresco Theatre.

Coming in a close second were Padrin Grimstad and daughter, Rachel. They received $35 in Chamber Bucks and two tickets to the Cresco Theatre.

LuAnn Heisinger and daughter, Carissa Alan, received $15 and two tickets for third place.

Honorable mentions were Fallon and Kynlee Hammon, Joanne and Kyrah Reicks, Carrie and Kaylanne Ryan, Jennifer and Jaden Young and Stacy and Lexie Engelhardt.
