— No athletic talent required for Un-Olympics
Howard County - Cresco Area Chamber of Commerce has changed up its fall mixer. It’s now being held in the spring. The Spring Un-Olympics will take place on Friday, March 23 at the Expo Center in Cresco, with registration starting at 6:30 p.m.
It’s hard to find a good date to have an event with so many happenings in Howard County. Fall occasions are becoming more popular, so it was decided to think outside the box and have the mixer in the spring.
Bring the gang for a night of fun, food and entertainment. Games include Bucket Game, Suck it Up, Putt Putt Hole, Musical Chairs, Hula Hoop, Telephone, Costume Change and Olympic Costume Contest.
Teams are made up of five individuals. Come as a group or as singles and match up during the evening.
There are food and munchies provided with a cash bar available. A DJ will keep the crowd entertained.
Don’t worry about making a fool of yourself—you’ll just be one of the crowd!!! It’s all in good fun and a great way to network with others.
Cost is $25 for a single, $45 for a couple and, the more the merrier, a team of five is $100. To sign up, call the Chamber at 563-547-3434.
