Gift Giveaway winners

CRESCO - For the past 10 weeks, locals have had the opportunity to shop at area businesses and sign up for a chance to win weekly gift certificates and also the grand prize of $1,000 and second place of $500. The winners were drawn on Monday, Dec. 27. Lisa Frohn of Cresco won the top prize, while Terry Nicoll won second place.

Frohn said, “I think I got this at Ox & Wren. Thanks Maria (Larson)!” She said she was surprised to get the call, since she usually doesn’t win. 

This is really cool because we already shop at all of these. I will have no problem spending this. Now, I have to go shopping . . . darn!”

Nicoll was also surprised. He jokingly (or not) said he wasn’t going to share. “I bought Christmas presents at these businesses, so I’m not sharing this!”
