George Laub wins Annual TPD My World Photo Contest

CRESCO - George Laub of Preston, Minn., captured the Champion Best of Show Award for his photo titled, ‘The Luminous Dragonfly’ at the My World Photo Contest, sponsored by the Times Plain Dealer. An impressive total of 113 people submitted entries into the contest.

For placing first, Laub will receive $50 in Cresco Chamber Dollars.

The Reserve Champion Best of Show Award went to Beth King of McIntire for her photo, ‘Radiant Waves Ablaze.’ King will receive $25 in Cresco Chamber Dollars for placing second.

Abby Cahalan won the People’s Choice Award for her photo, ‘Don’t Worry, Bee Happy.’ Abby will receive $25 in Cresco Chamber Dollars.

First place winners in each category will receive $25 in Cresco Chamber Dollars and two Cresco Theatre Movie Passes.
