First Family Fun Night

CRESCO - The first of three Family Fun Nights is taking place on Thursday, June 6 at Kessel Park from 4-8 p.m.

The theme is a little different from other years as it includes a Kids Mini Boot Camp! Howard County Veterans (American Legion, Legion Riders and VFW) are partnering with Cresco Area Chamber of Commerce to bring a fun night of bouncy houses, balloon guy, obstacle course, climbing wall and food!

Kids of all ages are invited to have fun on the climbing wall, which is being sponsored by Iowa National Guard. Recruiters will be available to answer questions about the military.

VA Director Marshall Rogne is in charge of the obstacle course, which will include ropes to climb under and tires to run through. There will be prizes for winners in several age groups.

In addition, Renos will have food on the grounds for those needing some nourishment after a hard day of boot camp!
