2019 Little Miss Cresco Candidates

— Crowning on Friday, Sept. 20, 4:30 p.m, Beadle Park
CRESCO - Five young ladies are competing for the title of Little Miss Cresco 2019, as part of Norman Borlaug Harvest Fest. 
Addison Bohr, Alanna Schatz, Amberlena Lopez, Claire Kach and Hadley Riehle are in the running and will be judged on poise, personality and the interview process. In order to be in the contest, the young lady must be in fourth grade, must have a Cresco address and must not have run in the past for the title.
Judging will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at CUSB Bank, Grange Hall. The public is invited to the coronation of Little Miss Cresco and Miss Congeniality (chosen by the contestants) on Friday, Sept. 20 at 4:30 p.m. in Beadle Park (part of the opening ceremonies for Norman Borlaug Harvest Fest). The contestants will also be in the parade on Saturday, Sept. 21. 
New this year is a clean up volunteer project being done by the contestants and their parents. Clean up will be done along the Prairie Springs Recreational Trail.

Addison Bohr is the daughter of Angie Bohr and Brian Bohr. She attends Notre Dame Catholic School. Addison enjoys dance, softball and writing.
Alanna Schatz is the daughter of Aaron and Melissa Schatz. She attends Notre Dame Catholic School. Alanna enjoys drawing, reading, helping on the farm feeding bottle calves, helping her mom at Sue-Z-Q’s, bowling on the youth league from Cresco, softball and basketball.
Amberlena Lopez is the daughter of Doreen Lopez. She attends Crestwood Elementary School. Amberlena enjoys coloring, drawing, braiding hair, playing outdoors, cartwheels and riding her bike.
Claire Kach is the daughter of Scott and Sarah Kach. She attends Notre Dame Catholic School. She enjoys swimming, basketball, softball, dance, volleyball, riding her mule named Daphne with her dad, hunting and snowmobiling with her dad, fishing, sewing and quilting with her mom, playing with her brother, James, and sister, Cora, 4-H and spending time with her friends.
Hadley Riehle is the daughter of Dennis and Tanya Riehle. She attends Notre Dame Catholic School. She enjoys dancing, singing, softball, basketball, volleyball and tumbling.
Emma Drees, 2018 Little Miss Cresco, will be on hand to crown the 2019 Little Miss Cresco. She is the daughter of Mike and Amy Drees.
The winner will participate in many of the weekend’s activities and will be an ambassador for the town of Cresco for many events in the year following the crowning.
