Crestwood Head Coach Karen Steffen praised all the Cadets for their efforts.
“Each of our kids competed hard and gave it their all,” Steffen noted. “We had some outstanding performances given the soggy conditions.
“Keaton Vobr finished in 7th place - his highest conference finish ever. Karter Johnson and Cash Knox each ran a PR (personal record). They crossed the finish line together with identical times!
“We had three girls who medaled - Lexus was the champion, Jaclyn 8th, and Livia 9th. Emma Drees ran a PR and Ella Dennler a SB (season best) in their last high school cross country race.
“The girls varsity team placed second in a very close score, behind Waukon, and just edged out MFL in third," Steffen said.
