LIME SPRINGS - Wyatt Tibbals died tragically alongside one of his good friends on June 11, 2023. Wyatt was 21 years old, his untimely death has left family and friends shocked and devastated.
Wyatt was born to Rex Tibbals and Mary Waldron on March 13, 2002. As a child, it was always a struggle to get Wyatt inside the house. He loved everything outdoors and became interested in hunting and fishing at a very young age. He also enjoyed horseback riding and found a passion for motorbikes along the way. These interests never left him throughout the course of his life.
As Wyatt grew, you could often find him outside hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling or riding motorcycle. His love for riding grew into a passion for motor work and he became quite the handy mechanic. He had dreams of running his own engine repair company or possibly taking over the company where he was employed. Most recently, Wyatt worked as a service technician installing car lifts. Wyatt loved his line of work and it shone through in the exceptional way he did his job.
Wyatt was young at the time of his death but many would argue his soul was much older. His friends described him as ‘To the bone Wyatt,’ an original and genuine person. An ‘outdoor motorhead’ and caring individual, ‘the kind of guy that would drop everything to help you out.’ He was also said to have ‘big dreams’ and a ‘contagious laugh,’ one that will be missed for years to come.
Wyatt is survived by his mother, Mary Waldron (Bobby Hanson); father, Rex Tibbals (Stacy); brother, Laramie Tibbals and sister, Amy Hatland (Seth).
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Fanny Tibbals and Rex and Cordelia Waldron.
It is hoped that Wyatt’s memory will live on through those that loved him by sharing stories and fond memories and enjoying the beauty of nature.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Lime Springs/Chester Fish and Game Club, 13945 40th Street Lime Springs.
