~ Scene Shop Making Progress ~

CRESCO - Since the groundbreaking of the Scene Shop on April 21, 2025, significant progress has been made, and the project is moving along quickly.
Construction crews have been hard at work, transforming the vision for the new Scene Shop into reality. The foundation has been successfully laid, the framing has been raised, with plans for the exterior walls to rise soon. The inside of the building is coming along nicely, really giving a feel for how the building is going to look when complete.
The project aims to provide a state-of-the-art facility for local artists and community members to collaborate and create, enriching the cultural fabric of our community. The Scene Shop is expected to feature versatile space for rehearsals, design, live entertainment access and production.
As momentum builds and anticipation grows for the official opening of the Scene Shop, community members are encouraged to stay engaged and involved as the project progresses. The Cresco Theatre & Opera House is also still asking for the communities support in the form of any size donation, to help make this project a success. Updates will continue to be shared through the TPD as well as various social media platforms to ensure everyone can follow along on this exciting journey.
