Cresco - The cat is going to be let completely out of the bag on April 11. The big reveal for Cresco’s RAGBRAI® XLV logo and theme will take place during the Howard County Business & Tourism’s (HCB&T) Annual Banquet.

Hopefully word will get out all over the United States as well since the featured speaker for the evening is Iowa’s U.S. Senator Joanie Ernst.

There are still seats available for the event, which can be purchased from Cresco Area Chamber.  

Cresco’s RAGBRAI® Executive Board and all the committee members are excited to announce the theme for the Thursday, July 27 overnight stop.

The plan is to have a short theme-revealing video to show the evening of April 11, which will be available on www.crescochamber.com by Wednesday. 

Shortly thereafter, many of the applications, such as for food vendors, which have been waiting for the logo, will be available at www.crescochamber.com as well.

Those attending the HCB&T banquet will have more to experience than the theme reveal.

The social hour starts at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6. The Times Plain Dealer will be announcing the Hall of Fame, Citizen of the Year and Organization of the Year around 6:45 p.m. The HCB&T program will last about 15 minutes and then U.S. Sen. Joanie Ernst will speak. 

Around 7:45 p.m. is when members of the RAGBRAI® Executive Board and committees will introduce the theme.

Counter copies for Times Plain Dealer will be distributed late on Tuesday, April 11 to allow time for the banquet reveal.
