CRESCO - The local horticulture business Plantpeddler was recently selected for a mini-documentary for the PBS Viewpoint Project. A camera crew and producer were at Plantpeddler touring the different greenhouses Thursday, March 28.
Filming of the Plantpeddler staff and the greenhouses, as well as the new technology frequently implemented by the Gooders were highlighted. Several shots of workers and machinery were filmed to be put into the documentary.
Each PBS Viewpoint Project episode is around three to six minutes long, and airs in between larger segments of different shows. Organizations featured in the mini-docu series are considered to be groundbreaking, and often accompanied by leaders who are educated professionals.
As a thank you to the project’s participants, the segment taken at the greenhouses will be mass produced on live and public television. The PBS Viewpoint Project will also provide a high-end commercial for Plantpeddler, which will air on national and regional cable news networks. An email campaign is also utilized, with the episode being shared to over one million targeted viewers.
Plantpeddler has been in the news frequently for their many successes, innovations, and use of advanced technology.
