ND School receives cross from NICC, AlumLine, Gooder

CRESCO - Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) has once again partnered with Alum-Line and CEO/President Gary Gooder, to donate a cross to Notre Dame Catholic School in Cresco, Iowa. 

High School students involved with the NICC Welding Career Path,  with assistance from their instructor, Jason Bye, built the cross in March and April of this year. Gary Gooder and Alum-Line donated the supplies and materials to the students and faculty to assist in the construction of the cross. Darrel Andera donated the lighting and the electric work for the cross.

The cross was unveiled June 12 at the school, with the Notre Dame Principal, Katie Schmitt and School Board member Kyle Teeling in attendence. Father  Jacob Rouse blessed the new cross and dedicated it with a prayer.

Students involved are: Boston Danielson, Bradley Munkel, Clayton Thiele, Colton Heit, Jason Ahern, Mason Vrba, Preston Hurd, Wyatt Lindstrom, Austin Hoppe, Blake Kuhn, Brayden Thompson, Cody Kerian, Kail Schmelzer, Parker Moser, Tyler Pisney, Will Ludwig, William Roberts.
