Beckman takes first place at My World Photo Contest

CRESCO - Tim Beckman of Protivin won the Champion Best of Show Award for his photo titled, 'Elbow Grease,' at the My World Photo Contest sponsored by the Times Plain Dealer at the Mighty Howard County Fair. Beckman will receive $50 in Cresco Chamber Dollars for placing first.

George Laub of Preston, Minn., was the Reserve Champion Best of Show for his photo, 'Buzzing for Life.' He will receive $25 in Cresco Chamber Dollars for placing second. All winners can pick up their prizes at the Times Plain Dealer office, located at 214 North Elm Street in Cresco. A complete list of winners in all the categories will be in the June 28 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
