Shea, Bigalk qualify for State Cross Country Meet

OELWEIN - Crestwood juniors Kinze Shea and Dominic Bigalk both finished in the top 15 individually at the Class 2A State Qualifier Cross Country Meet in Oelwein on Oct. 20 to earn a trip to the State Cross Country Meet on Oct. 28 in Fort Dodge. Shea finished second in the varsity girls' race in 20:00.06 while Bigalk placed 15th in the varsity boys' race in 17:59.12. The Class 2A Girls' State Meet will begin at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28. The Class 2A Boys' State Meet will start at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 28. Complete Cadet results from the State Qualifier Meet will be in the Oct. 26 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
