No. 7 Crestwood girl cagers trounce Union, 47-17

CRESCO - The Class 3A No. 7 Crestwood girls' basketball team snagged an early 15-2 lead over Union and never let up as the Cadets cruised to a 47-17 win over the Knights in the first round of the Class 3A Region 3 Tournament on Feb. 9 at home.

Crestwood (13-5) will advance to face New Hampton (11-8) in the Region 3 Semifinal on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at home. The winner will play either Osage (19-1) or Forest City (15-7) on Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Region Final.
