Crestwood softball team routs Kee Hawks, SW

LANSING - Taking on Lansing Kee on the road in the season opener on May 23, the Crestwood softball team erupted for six runs in the second inning on its way to an 11-0 win in five innings over the Kee Hawks.
Playing South Winn in their home opener on May 27, the Cadets blasted the Warriors, 12-1, in six innings.
Cadets 11, Kee 0
The Cadets tallied six runs in the second, four in the third and one in the fifth inning. Crestwood finished with 10 hits (all singles) and had seven runs batted in against Kee.
Cadets 12, SW 1
Kyleigh Foster held the Warriors to only two hits while Crestwood’s offense racked up 12 hits during a 12-1 victory on May 27.
The Cadets took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Nevaeh Howe singled to drive in two runs. Crestwood added single runs in the second and third to push the lead to 4-0.
South Winn scored its only run in the fourth when Morgan Kleve drove in one run with a single.
