Crestwood girls lose to Comets, sweep two from Chickasaws

CRESCO - The Charles City Comets racked up seven runs in the bottom of the first inning on their way to a 14-4 win in five innings over the Crestwood softball team on June 2 in Charles City.
Taking on New Hampton in a home doubleheader on June 3, the Cadets earned a sweep with a 15-5 win in game one and a 9-8 victory in game two.
The Cadets will host Decorah on June 10 at 6:30 p.m.
