Crestwood girl cagers beat South Winn, St. Charles; fall to Waukon

CALMAR - An 18-3 fourth quarter run by the Crestwood girls’ basketball team allowed the Cadets to rout South Winn, 67-40, on Dec. 8 in Calmar to improve to 3-0.
Facing off against Waukon at home on Dec. 9, the Cadets struggled shooting the ball as the Indians won, 49-36.
Playing St. Charles, Minn., at Luther College on Dec. 10, the Cadets went on a 24-13 run in the second half on their way to a 41-39 win to improve to 4-1 overall.
