Crestwood boys’ shuttle hurdle relay team nabs 12th at State Meet; Cadet athletes battle hard

DES MOINES - Crestwood boys’ shuttle hurdle relay team took 12th place and senior Carter Henry finished 16th at the Class 2A State Track Meet from May 20-22 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
Crestwood senior Kade Munkel placed 15th in the long jump with a distance of 20 feet, 1.25 inches and he took 20th in the high jump at a height of 5 feet, 9 inches. The Cadets’ distance medley team posted a time of 3:48.87 but was disqualified because of a lane violation.
In the girls’ meet, the Crestwood’s 4x800 meter relay team of Kyleigh Foster, Olivia Ollendick, Tara Koshatka and Kinze Shea placed 23rd in a time of 10:38.86.
