Cadet softball team routs NH, advances to region semifinals against Wahlert

CRESCO - The Crestwood softball team crushed New Hampton, 8-2, on July 6 in the first round of the Class 3A Region 7 tournament. The Cadets (13-9) will host Dubuque Wahlert (21-16) in the region semifinals on Saturday, July 9 at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to play either West Delaware (7-26) or Monticello (9-18) in the region final on July 12 at 7 p.m.
