Cadet Jamboree and Meet the Team set for Aug. 18 at CHS

CRESCO -  Crestwood fans will have their chance to look at the new stadium and the fall sports teams starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18 at the Crestwood football field during the Cadet Jamboree.

A free meal will be provided by the Crestwood All-Sports Boosters from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the stadium. The All-Sports Boosters will also be holding their membership drive at this time. During the evening, fans are welcome to tour the new stadium. There will also be prizes and games for students.

Following the meal, the fall sports teams will host their Meet the Team Night. At 6 p.m., new Activities Director Greg Hiemstra will welcome the crowd. At 6:10 p.m., the All Sports Booster Club will be introduced. At 6:15 p.m. Cheerleading Coach Lindsay Steinmetz will introduce the Cadet cheerleaders. 

Following Steinmetz will be Cross Country Coach Jim Obermann, who will introduce the Cadet boy and girl harriers. Volleyball Coach Robin Gossman will introduce his team next, and Football Coach Chris Lentz will introduce all the Cadet gridders. After the football players are introduced, the varsity will host a scrimmage against South Winn starting at 7 p.m.
