Cadet boy golfers place third at NEIC Meet

 

CRESCO - Competing at the Northeast Iowa Conference golf tournament on May 15, the Crestwood boys’ golf team placed third overall at 346.
New Hampton won the NEIC title with a score of 309. The rest of the standings included: 2. Charles City 330; 3. Crestwood 346; 4. Decorah 348; 5. Waverly-SR 359; 6. Oelwein 394; 7. Waukon 397.
Crestwood scores included: Alex Kerian 85 (All-NEIC), Isaiah Passmore 86 (All-NEIC), Justin Reinking 87, Kristian Szajna 88, Colten Wiley 95, Harry Kitchen 102.
“This was a great way to finish the season by placing third at the conference meet,” Cadet Coach Lynn McCormick said. “ The boys really improved over the course of the season and four scores in the 80s was great to see. 
“Isaiah Passmore earned All-Conference honors, and Alex Kerian earned All-Conference honors for the fourth straight year,  which is a great accomplishment.  All the boys put in a lot of time practicing to improve and it showed today. I appreciate all their efforts.”
