CACC Intermediate Trapshooting Squad nabs first place at TV

JACKSON JCT - The snow and cold weather didn’t bother the Cresco Area Clay Crushers Trapshooting team as several squads performed well at the Turkey Valley Invitational held on April 2.
Seven teams competed including: Turkey Valley, Cresco, New Hampton, Charles City, South Winn, Nashua-Plainfield and Echo Valley.
CACC Squad 1 nabbed first place in the Intermediate Division with a team score of 214. Grady Huber was first individually with a score of 47, McCauley Heer was second at 46, Jaxon Barnes took third at 46, and Lydia Bollman was fourth at 42.
Individual scores for Squad 1 included: Huber 47, Heer 46, Kadyn Schmelzer 46, Kale Christopher 38, and Ashton Keune 37.
The CACC teams competed at home on April 5.

4. CACC 2 – 177: J. Barnes 46, Bollman 42, Taylor McCabe 35, Mitchell Barnes 28, Eli Eiffler 26.
9. CACC 3 – 96: Ethan Johnson 31, Harley Fisher 20, Toby Schnitzler 17, Carson Miller 16, Atley Olson 12.
15. CACC 4 – 24: Kaydence Hrdlicka 16, Madi Fritcher-Larson 8, Abigail Lewis 0.
Senior Divisions
CACC Squad 5 finished fourth in the Senior Division with a score of 224. New Hampton Red Squad was first at 236.
Cresco’s Katie Pinter placed sixth in the Ladies’ Senior Division with a score of 42, and Alaina Bina was 10th at 39.
