ELMA - Jacqueline D. Dybevik, age 71, of Elma, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Elma, with Pastor Daird Korth officiating. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery at Elma.

Jacqueline Day Dybevik was born on July 29, 1948 to Theodore and Lois (Tullis) Klockner in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. She attended school in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from Orange High School in 1967. She worked at JC Penney for a short time before becoming a nurses aid in Waterloo and later in New Hampton, Iowa.
Jackie was united in marriage to Donald Dybevik on Oct. 23, 1971 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. The couple lived in Cresco, Iowa before moving to Elma, in 1973, where they have lived to the present time.
Jackie worked as a direct care staff member of Comprehensive Systems in New Hampton and Elma until she retired.
She enjoyed caring for people, flower gardening, feeding and watching hummingbirds, bowling and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and seeing the ocean. Jackie was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and the quilting club.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Nielsen of Elma; husband, Donald of Elma; four children, Ryan (Heather) Dybevik of Kensett, Iowa, Heather Dybevik of Elma, Tiffany (DeVonne) Dybevik of Fredericks, Va. and Brittany (Jason) Stone of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren, Skylar Dybevik, Hunter Dybevik, Zarina Dybevik, Layla Dybevik-Collins, and Amina Stone; sister, Nancy (Pat) Jeffries of Washburn, Iowa; brother, Bruce (Carol) Klockner of Pecatonica, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Karen Streich of Charles City, Iowa, and Carol Schwake of Elma; and brother-in-law, Daryl Dybevik of Cresco.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Klockner; brother, Paul Klockner; and great-niece, Grace Rosauer.
