Pave the Way sets Aug. 1 completion date

Cresco, Iowa -
Representatives from the Pave the Way bike trail committee presented a check for $180,000 to the Winneshiek County Conservation Board at the Prairie Springs Recreational Trail annual meeting April 23. The funds presented was the total amount raised by Cresco, Calmar and Ridgeway residents combined.
Skyline Construction of Decorah was awarded the bid to begin laying concrete from the Cresco city limits to the two-mile corner. They plan to finish laying concrete by no later than Aug. 1.
