Aquila, a natural gas provider that serves over 1,802 customers in Cresco, presented a $500 check to the Prairie Springs Recreational Trail Committee. The funds will be used to help pave the Prairie Farmer Recreational Trail that connects Calmar, Ridgeway and Cresco.  This is the first installment of a $1,500 pledge.  
    “We are pleased to help support the trail project”, said Bonnie Gilbert, Aquila’s operations supervisor, based in Decorah. “It’s part of Aquila’s ongoing commitment to help improve the quality of life in communities where we provide energy service.”
