Arrowheads donated to nature center

Dick Zak, left, donated Native American arrowheads that were mounted by Dave Mott, center, to Prairie’s Edge Nature Center last week. Angela Bries, Howard County Conservation Department naturalist, is also pictured.
Zak and his brother, Richard Zak, found the arrowheads on a farm formerly owned by their father, Frank Zak. The farm is located along a tributary of Crane Creek near the now defunct town of Maple Leaf.
