About 200 bicyclists will ride through Cresco as part of the Midwest Scenic Tri-State Ride on Thursday.
Participants will ride through Cresco on their way to Decorah after leaving Lanesboro, Minn. on Thursday morning. Cresco officials expect to see the highest flow of bicyclists in town between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Participants will enter town on Granger Rd., then ride past Regional Health Services of Howard County on 8th Ave. to North Elm St. An information booth for bicyclists will be set up outside of City Hall.
The second annual Midwest Scenic Tri-State Ride started in Lansing June 23. Participants will end their trip in Lansing on June 27. Riders will stay overnight in Coon Valley, Wis., Lanesboro, Minn. and Decorah during their trip.
