Weekly COVID info from RHS

CRESCO - (As of Sept. 14 at 8 a.m.) As the summer season comes to an end and flu season approaches, we must remember COVID-19 remains in our community. We have seen the greatest amount of virus activity in Howard County in the past 5 weeks than in any other previous month. That means we must continue to be diligent in the mitigation efforts we are all aware of: frequent hand washing, masking, social distancing, and staying home when sick. Please also respect those that may be diagnosed with COVID-19 or those that may be quarantined.
COVID-19 can affect everyone. Although the level of severity may differ, no one is exempt from the potential of contracting the virus, and the possibility of spreading it to others in our community is high. As we continue to navigate this challenging time, we thank each and every community member that has helped protect one another by wearing a mask, practicing good hand hygiene, keeping distance from others, and staying home when sick.  Please continue these practices! We know this past year has not been easy.
COVID-19 Antibody Testing is now being offered at RHSHC. This test determines the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus antibodies due to a prior infection and is a part of our Wellness Testing Program. Wellness Testing includes a variety of cash pay test selections that do not require an appointment or a physician’s order. (Results are sent directly to the patient only. You will need to reach out to your provider if you would like to discuss results with them.) COVID-19 Antibody Testing can be done Monday-Friday 7:30AM-5:00PM or Saturday 8:00AM-10:00AM at a cost of $60. Call 563-547-2022 for more information.
