Honoring our veterans

Howard County - Anyone wishing to honor a veteran can still do so, through Oct. 30, by turning in the hero’s military (or other) photo, name, military branch, rank and time served to Times Plain Dealer.

All photos submitted, with a $3.00 fee, will be featured in a special Veterans Day tribute section. (As a special gift, for $20, your veteran can be featured for 10 years.)

Photos and information can be mailed to Times Plain Dealer, 214 N. Elm St., Cresco, Iowa, 52136, or brought into the office.
